Lexi Vanover plays alto saxophone and clarinet for the Ross Band of Class Marching Band, Ross Concert Band, Ross Jazz Band and in the OMEA solo and ensemble contest.
Lexi’s favorite memory from band is the last clarinet handshake at the last competition. Even though she broke her leg and couldn't be with her section, they came up to her every comp to do the handshake. The clarinets, especially the freshmen and 8th grade members, are what got her through breaking her leg. Seeing them improve and grow to be next year's band make her content that she couldn't march.

Anna Tabar plays tenor saxophone in the Ross Band of Class Marching Band, Jazz Band and Concert Band.
Anna’s favorite band memory is from freshman year. We were riding on the buses home from an event that we performed at, and I was tossing a plastic water bottle between me and my friend Chyanne Westendorf. During one of the tosses, I threw it a little too hard and it sailed perfectly out the bus window, getting run over by the bus behind us. I was dying laughing and felt really embarrassed. This was in the practice lot, so I ran and grabbed the bottle afterwards and recycled it. My favorite sentimental memory is from my junior year. I was feeling down during pizza night at band camp because I felt alone and like I didn't fit in with my section or had any friends there for me, when the tenor freshman Brayden Coulter sat down next to me and said I was his best friend, and asked if he could join me and my friends for Uno. Even though he was probably being sarcastic and didn't mean anything by it, it still made me feel welcomed and he's been pretty cool ever since then.
Outside of band, Anna enjoys doing a variety of art, ranging from digital to paints and pastels. When bored, she also likes to play some low-stress video games with her friend.
After graduation, Anna plans to attend the Art Academy of Cincinnati for computer animation and/or illustration.

After walking up the stairs, they heard a janitor and ran back down. He decided to run backwards down the stairs, two at a time. He promptly fell all the way down. They all shared a good laugh about it.

After graduation, Greg plans to attend the US Air Force Academy in Colorado and join the Air Force after graduating. He plans to make a career in the Air Force as either a software or mechanical engineer.

Outside of band, Grace is an FCCLA State Officer, a member of academic team, and a member of JEE Foods (particularly the Maroon Mocha). She also enjoys playing volleyball with friends and family.

Alayna Meade plays clarinet in the Ross Marching, Pep and Concert Bands.
Alayna’s favorite memories are from hanging out with the clarinets. There's too many good times for her to name a specific one. Her favorite marching show is Nevermore.
Outside of band, Alayna is involved in 4H, Legacy tech team, mock trial, Ram Theatre Project, student government, and JEE Foods.
After graduation, Alayna plans to attend Miami University to study biology and neuroscience.

Autumn Johnson plays vibraphone and marimba in the Ross Marching, Jazz and Concert Bands. She also participates in the Indoor Percussion Competition Ensemble.
Autumn’s favorite band memory is when she threw up at Disney World and Mr. Roemer told her she was "ruining her friends’ day!" lol!! Her favorite marching shows are Masterpiece and Nevermore.
After graduation, Autumn plans to attend Miami University to study psychology to become a mental health therapist.

Robert Berting plays clarinet in the Ross Marching and Concert Bands. He has also been a member of District 13 Honor Band for 6 years.
Robert’s favorite band memory is Mr. Roemer scoring on Myles in basketball at band camp. Robert’s favorite marching show was Masterpiece.
Outside of band, Robert participated in Student Council as the Class of 2022 Treasurer. He has also been a member of Hope Squad, Music Honor Society, and 4H.
After graduation, Robert plans to attend Miami University, majoring in Music Education.

Ashleigh Jarvis plays clarinet in the Ross Marching and Concert Bands.
Ashleigh’s favorite band memory had to be when we got out first “1” rating for Nevermore. It was just one of the most satisfying and exciting events that happened my sophomore year.
Ashleigh’s favorite marching show was Nevermore.
After graduation, Ashleigh plans to go to college at Miami University in Oxford. She’s majoring in psychology while co-majoring in fashion.

Lydia Trout plays flute and piccolo in the Ross Marching, Concert and Pep Bands.
Lydia’s favorite band memory was being able to spend her freshman year with her sister who was a senior and getting to finish the show of Masterpiece by each other

Outside of school, Lydia works at a stable.
After graduation Lydia plans to go into cosmetology at either Paul Mitchell or Aveda.

Malia Kelly plays flute in the Ross Marching Band.
Malia’s favorite band memory was when the band was walking down the tunnel at Ohio State her freshman year because of how nervous and excited she was. From then on, there were many memories made.
Malia’s favorite marching show was Nevermore.
Outside of school, Malia participates in National Honors Society, Student Council, and Bowling.
After graduation Malia plans to finish her bachelor's degree in two years, then attend law school. Her end goal is to be a lawyer and politician.

Cora’s favorite band memory was falling out of hammocks at band camp. Her favorite Marching Band Show was Masterpiece.
After graduation Cora plans to attend college for dental hygiene.

Hannah Erb was a drum major in the Ross Marching band the past two seasons. She previously played clarinet in the Ross Marching and Pep Bands and she continues to play clarinet in the Ross Concert Band.
Her favorite band memory was becoming a drum major Junior year. Her favorite Marching Band Show was Bewitched while she was drum major and Nevermore when she marched.
Outside of band Hannah enjoys participating in Academic Team and History Club as well as working at Old Navy.
After graduation Hannah plans to attend college and become a neurosurgeon.

Bailey is part of the Ross Percussion, playing vibraphone for the RHS Concert & Marching Bands.
Her favorite band memory was Going to Disney and almost dying to a washing machine. Her favorite Marching Band Show was Bewitched.
Outside of band, Bailey spends a lot of her time working.
After graduation, Bailey plans to become a pharmacy technician and then attend college after gaining some experience.

Bri plays the clarinet in the RHS Marching and Concert Band. She also plays the alto sax for the RHS Jazz Band.
Her favorite band memory was when Mr. Roemer couldn’t remember her name freshman year at band camp.
Outside of band, Bri enjoys playing softball and hanging out with her friends.
After graduation, she plans to attend Miami University and get a degree in occupational therapy or become a nurse practitioner.
