Congratulations to Ross Percussion for getting 2nd place with a score of 73.0 at Trent Arena!
Ross was very well represented Saturday at the OMEA solo and ensemble contest. This is the largest group we have had competing since before covid. It is such an important and valuable experience that helps not only the performer - but our entire band. Please consider being a part of an ensemble or even taking a solo next year. And if you did it this year - Do It Again! I was very proud of all the students Saturday. Not just for their performances but for the work that they put into it to make it to the contest that day. I know they all became better musicians because of their hours of preparation.
ALL Ross ensembles received a Superior rating. I don’t remember this ever happening in the past.

Congratulations to the 2025 Ross Band of Class for their superior performance at the OMEA State Finals! What a performance and great way to end our marching season! Superior ratings in Music, Visual, General Effect, Percussion, Color Guard - Overall Superior rating at State Finals.
A HUGE thank you to our parent volunteers. Drivers, Chaperones, Equipment help, Nurse, the list goes on. Thank you for Mrs. Pellegrino for her leadership on getting our parents organized.
Thanks to the Ziepfel's for use of their enclosed trailer this season.
Our directors are second to none. Their dedication to this band is incredible. I remember starting this job in 1996 (Stone Age) and having just a couple directors helping.
Today we have a staff of 5 percussion, 2 color guard, 1 woodwind, and 1 brass/assistant director. We are so fortunate to have a true dream team to teach our students.

Join us Thursday for some great food! A portion of the proceeds benefit the Ross Band!
