Ross Band Families

This Thursday you are all invited to come watch and enjoy the music of our high school band members.  This is our annual "Recital Night" to showcase band members who will be performing at the OMEA solo and ensemble contest this Saturday @ Wilmington HS.  The show begins at 7pm in the high school auditorium.  This is a perfect time to video tape and or photograph the performances, for this is not aloud at the contest Saturday.
Booster News...  A nominating committee has been formed - Rob Kohlman, Tammy Grenier,  Diann Bielefeld  & Debbie Wurzelbacher.  If you are interested in running for either President or Treasure please contact one of the committee members (numbers are in the Band Members Directory) and please plan to attend the March 1st Band Boosters' meeting.
Also, congratulations to the Winter Percussion Team for receiving 1st place at the MEPA competition in Kettering this weekend. Good Job.

Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

The girls will wear a tea-length black dress. However, your child will need to have the appropriate accessories:  Girls - black dress shoes appropriate for the tea length dress;  Boys- white, wing tip, pleated tux shirt, black socks, and black shoes (marching shoes are fine for this).  Skeffington's Formal Wear sells the shirts.

All High School Concert Band Trumpet players need mutes.  They are required to own a Straight mute, a Cup Mute, and a Harmon Mute.  They are available through Buddy Rogers Music (728-6000) and can be delivered to the school on Thursdays.
