/Congratulations to the members of the Ross High School Marching Band on your rating of Excellent at OMEA State Marching Band Finals.
Also, Congratulations for qualifying for "State" for 29 straight years. Very few bands in Ohio can make that claim.

Ross High School Band is State Bound

The band will perform their show at Dayton's Welcome Stadium the evening of November 10th.

/Thank you to everyone who came to the Homecoming Chili Supper. Also, thank you to all the volunteers (chili supper, quad raffle, split the pot, pit crew, and hospitality) that worked hard to make the night such a success.
Ross Band Boosters' Chili Supper
/The annual chili supper, hosted by the Ross Band Boosters, will take place Friday, October 4th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm in the RMS cafeteria. Please come out to support the band and enjoy a delicious chili supper before the Homecoming football game.

RHS Band is About to Begin!!
/High School Band season begins on July 22 with the Parent Band Camp Meeting and the Band Boosters' Open House.
The Open House will begin @ 5:30pm and run until the Camp meeting @ 6pm. The Open House will continue after the meeting. You can pay camp balances, turn in paperwork, and sign-up for various volunteer opportunities.
Pre-Camp for students will run July 23 - 26 from 9-noon in the band room.
Band Camp runs July 28 - 31 at Camp Lebanon.

Professional Performance Requirement
/Each year High school band students are required to attend at least one
professional performance to complete the recital attendance portion of their
grade in band. This can be any type of musical performance which involves
professional musicians performing. This cannot be a high school or junior high
school concert. This performance must be a concert featuring instruments, and it can be a free or a paid event. For
example an orchestra concert or a rock band performance would be fine.

The RHS Ensemble Recital
/The ensemble portion of the recital that was cancelled to due weather is rescheduled for Tuesday, February 5th @ 8pm. in the auditorium (following the Band Boosters' meeting @ 7pm.).

The 2013 cards are now for sale for $5.00 each and the discounts are good all year long.

The Ross Band Cards will be sold by Mr. Roemer at Ross High School, Mrs. Duncan at Ross Middle School, Mrs. Stapleton at Elda Elementary, and Mrs. Morrissey at Morgan Elementary.
They will also be available for purchase at the Ross Middle School Band Concert on December 13th, 2012 and Ross High School Band Concert on December 20th, 2012.

/If you are in the RHS Band, the RMS 7th & 8th Grade Band, and you are their parents, then you are invited to the Ross Band Boosters annual Tailgate Party on Sept. 21st @ 5:30pm. This party is to celebrate our Senior Band members & to welcome the 7th & 8th Grade Band for Future Ram Band Night.
